This was a medical malpractice case against several physicians and a Hospital for the failure to timely diagnose a condition known as bilateral developmental dysplasia of the hips (DDH). The condition of DDH is a genetic condition where a young child's hip socket fails to properly develop. The law offices of FOOTE, MEYERS, MIELKE & FLOWERS, LLC. did not originally file this lawsuit but rather was asked by another lawyer to take over the matter during the discovery phase. Having handled this particular medical issue in several past cases, we were able to make a substantial recovery for this child. The case settled a few weeks prior to the beginning of trial.
