Medical malpractice case against two physicians and a hospital for the failure to timely diagnose rectal cancer. $2,800,000.00 awarded for failing to timely diagnose rectal cancer. 

This was an approximately 40 year old woman who complained of rectal bleeding to her physician for nearly two years. Unfortunately, the proper testing was not ordered by either physician.  By the time the rectal cancer was diagnosed, it was too late.  This woman lived approximately two years before passing away as a result of the cancer.
