Illinois Appellate Court Finds Employer had Enforceable Non-Compete and Non-Solicit Agreement
On appeal after trial court found employer's non-compete and non-solicit agreements unenforceable, Mr. Tarpey was lead counsel for the employer at appeal. The Illinois Appellate Court reversed, finding employer's agreements with former employees enforceable and that former employees breached those agreements by starting competing business and soliciting the same customers they serviced as sales professionals for the former employer, one of the country's largest logistics providers.
