Robert M. Foote (Partner)

Robert M. Foote was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on July 17, 1954. He was admitted to the practice of law in Illinois in 1979 and in Wisconsin in 1986. Mr. Foote received his undergraduate degree from Harvard University (B.A., 1976), and his law degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (J.D., 1979).

Mr. Foote practices primarily in the area of class action litigation. Mr. Foote has spent a substantial amount of his time trying to improve the quality of health care in America. He was on the Steering Committee for In Re Sulzer where thousands of people received defective hips. He is fighting the high price of drugs in America, in "In Re Lupron® Marketing and Sales Practices". He is also part of the Steering Committee of "In Re Managed Care" that seeks to redress the inequalities between doctors and managed care that often indirectly affects patients. He is a past director of the Kane County Bar Association and a current member of the Board of Managers of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association.

Mr. Foote has been featured in West Suburban Living, as one of the "legal pros other lawyers would call if they need any special help", January/February 2004, in the article entitled "Raising the Bar. He has tried numerous cases with verdicts in excess of a million dollars, including a jury verdict for an injured child in an amount of $14 million dollars. He was listed as one of the top personal injury lawyers in the western suburbs.
