Peter J. Flowers (Partner)

Peter J. Flowers was born in Naperville, Illinois, in 1967.  He received his undergraduate degree from Loyola University in 1989 and his law degree from DePaul University in 1992.  He was admitted to the practice of law in the State of Illinois and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in 1992 and has also been admitted to practice in many States nationwide including Massachusetts and Florida.  

 Mr. Flowers concentrates his practice in the areas of medical malpractice and wrongful death litigation, where he represents the special needs of individuals and families whose lives have been tragically changed because of catastrophic injuries and loss of life.  He also practices in the areas of workers' compensation, automobile/truck accident litigation, product defects and product liability litigation as well as other cases involving personal injury.  He has a special interest in the representation of children and parents who have been injured by neglectful conduct of medical professionals. 

On June 9, 2009, Mr. Flowers was installed as President of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association (ITLA) for a one year term.  Mr. Flowers has been an active member of that organization for several years and held various positions.       

Mr. Flowers has received several honors over his career.  Mr. Flowers has been named an Illinois Super Lawyer in the area of medical malpractice.  He was also recognized as a Leading Lawyer by his peers in 2008, a distinction awarded to less than 5% of Illinois attorneys. He is also a member of the Verdict Club which is an elite society of the most prestigious litigators in the United States.  Members are nominated by fellow attorneys for membership. 

Mr. Flowers is a member of the Million Dollar Advocate Forum having resolved many cases in excess of $1,000,000.00.  He is also a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the DuPage County Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association and the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Association.
