Craig D. Brown

Craig D. Brown was born in Greenville, North Carolina in 1965.  He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1989 and his law degree from DePaul University College of Law in 1992.  He was admitted to the practice of law in the State of Illinois and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in 1992 and has also been admitted to practice in many States nationwide including Nevada, Wisconsin, and Indiana.

Mr. Brown concentrates his practice in the areas of medical malpractice, personal injury and wrongful death where he represents the special needs of individuals and families whose lives have been tragically changed because of catastrophic injuries and loss of life.

Mr. Brown has received several honors over his career.  He was recognized as a Leading Lawyer by his peers in 2008, a distinction awarded to less than five percent of Illinois attorneys.  He was also elected to the Million Dollar Advocate Forum as a result of successfully resolving many cases for his clients in excess of $1,000,000.00. In 2010, he was selected as an Illinois Super Lawyer for personal injury and medical malpractice. He is an active member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the American Association of Justice, the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, and the Kane County Bar Association.

Mr. Brown began his legal career as a felony criminal prosecutor for the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office in Chicago, Illinois where he prosecuted a wide variety of felonies including murder, aggravated sexual assault, and large scale drug trafficking cases.
